Summerfest themes really started to keep the festival producers on their “creative toes”.  Besides, it just made it more fun.  Some themes in the past have been favorites…some of them not so much.  Here is a record of what we have done in the past…

1998: The Sky’s The Limit (10^th Anniversary – first year for fireworks)

1997: Summerfest Goes Under the Big Top

1996: Planet Caroline

1988-1995: no defined themes other than “tweaking” production

Typically, festival producers invite vendors to decorate their booths to reflect the themes and some entertainment and stage decorations capture the spirit of the theme.
